Jean-Paul Sartre

Jean-Paul Sartre - Thursday 18 February
Jean-Paul Sartre (Prize of the best populist novel for his book Le Mur (The Wall), 23 April 1940) went to set fire to the Sacré Coeur built on the blood of the Communards : the water in the holy-water basins sufficed to extinguish the flames. The Cardinal Verdier in September 1939, had preceded him before that same basilica and had asked everyone to pray for Peace, then went to preside over mass communions near La Fourche, parish of St Michael.
In Portugal the right-thinking inquisition the wrong-thinking. Will God reply by a new earthquake at Lisbon ?

Jean-Paul Sartre - Saturday 13 December
Sartre, on the T.V. screen, the other evening, questioned by his compère Todd, on the subject of Vietnam (Cau, Todd, Benny Levy and a few others : fixation on the son ?)
The Jean-Paul wants to teach the people to free themselves from the shackles of the bourgeoisie ; merry eye in a head as of Funeral Services, sparse hair, dark waist-coat, he is moved by the savagery of the yankee army in Vietnam while underlining just how free the information in the United States is (does he understand to what point it is climatized ?) and ignoring the sino-soviet support granted to Hanoï. Witness this north-vietnamese violinist in this compartment of the train Moscow-Kiev who, hearing that he had to do with French, hastened to slip away towards more comfortable banquettes ; or also the reflections of Jana Ivanovna, teacher originating in Moldavia whose supreme dream it was to be detached to Algeria for reasons of cooperation.
However, Jean-Paul Sartre, in the camp of Galilei against the traditionalists of all kinds still deserves to be greeted by the trumpeters of St-Germain-des-Prés and by... your servant.
